É apenas um rumor, mas vale menção. O site russo WZorNet, famoso por "liberar" versões vazadas do Windows 7 pós-RC e dono de um layout... peculiar (anos 90 oi?), afirma que o Windows 7 foi finalizado, e que já estaria sendo distribuído a parceiros e, em breve, assinantes do MSND e Technet, e beta testers oficiais.
Segundo o site (thanks Google Translator), informações secretas vazaram da Microsoft, e elas diziam que a build 7260 seria a final. Algum tempo depois, novas informações indicavam que a final é, na realidade, a 7263 (string 6.1.7263.0.win7_rtm.090619-1900); uma recompilação seria feita apenas para substituir o "rtm" por "winmain", na string. Desculpem a explicação mequetrefe, é que traduções automatizadas do russo para o inglês não é a coisa mais inteligível do mundo.
Vale lembrar que, no momento, a última build de que se teve notícia, inclusive com alguns usuários testando-a, é a 7262.
Talvez o fato do Connect estar em manutenção tenha corroborado com esses rumores. Talvez não. A verdade, o que se tem como certo até o momento, é que o fim está próximo. Bastante incerto e duvidosa é essa data da liberação do RTM para parceiros; no anúncio da versão para consumidores finais, falou-se em final de julho, e estamos no final de junho ainda...
Quanto mais próximo o lançamento do Windows 7, mais fortes e precisos os rumores se tornarão. Agora, diria que estamos num período meio precoce para que previsões seguras sejam feitas. Mas elas já começaram, o que quer dizer alguma coisa. Se a previsão dos russos estiver certa, o Windows 7 RTM já está entre nós neste momento. Não sei esses nego econtra moral pra fala mal de microsoft... trabalho a 12 anos com linux e windows... não sou muita coisa, mas acredito que conheço algo para falar... e não acho nada de ruim em ambos sistemas operacionais... agora neguinho ai que pensa que sabe alguma coisa vem fala mal de microsoft por que outros amigos seus falaram, e ele achou bonito e ta seguindo a moda... e ainda sim usa windows, msn, office, etc.... pra mim é o fim!
